I'm trying to use tkCVS 8.2.2 against a local check-out from a remote SVN WebDAV repository. Producing a version graph is slow, since the project has a lot of tags, but eventually completes. However, all attempts at viewing diffs between versions (left-click, right-click, press delta) fail with some variety of:
file: URL/trunk/path/to/file@1243 does not exist.
Interestingly, I'm able to view both selections individually by pushing 'View a version..' for each in succession.
I tried this also against an svn+ssh connection to a different repository - same error. Is this a known problem or is it supposed to work?
It's supposed to work, but I've heard of a similar problem before. There's a report of someone not even being able to compare a current file to the head revision, but the tkdiff command line looked OK as far as I could tell. It was reported on Windows though and I didn't have a Windows machine that would run any modern version of svn.
Is the repository accessible? If there's an open source one somewhere that gives you the problem, I could try it.
